These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of DropLeash, operated at dropleash.app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

Description of Service

DropLeash is a software service that helps professional dog trainers generate AI-powered training progress reports. Trainers log session data, and DropLeash uses artificial intelligence to create detailed, branded reports that can be shared with clients as PDFs.

Account Registration

To use DropLeash, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information during registration and keep it up to date.

Subscription Plans and Billing

DropLeash offers the following plans:

• Free Trial: 7 days of access with up to 10 dogs and 30 total reports.
• Starter ($19/month): 10 dogs and 20 reports per month.
• Pro ($29/month): Unlimited dogs and reports (subject to fair use policy below).

Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the billing section on your profile page or through the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access until then.

Fair Use Policy

"Unlimited" plans are subject to reasonable use limits designed for individual trainers and small training businesses. The Pro plan includes up to 50 active dogs and 100 reports per month. Usage consistently exceeding these limits may result in a conversation about upgrading to an enterprise plan.

We will always contact you before taking any action on your account. We believe in transparent communication and will work with you to find the right solution.

AI-Generated Content

Reports generated by DropLeash are created by artificial intelligence based on the session data you provide. While we strive for high-quality, accurate output:

• You are responsible for reviewing all generated reports for accuracy before sharing them with clients.
• AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies.
• DropLeash is not liable for any inaccuracies in AI-generated content.
• You should not rely on AI-generated reports as a substitute for professional veterinary or behavioral advice.

Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all data you input into DropLeash, including dog information, session data, and notes. You also retain ownership of the reports generated from your data. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

By using the service, you grant DropLeash a limited license to process your data as necessary to provide the service (including sending session data to our AI provider to generate reports).

Intellectual Property

The DropLeash platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by DropLeash. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our written permission.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
• Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service.
• Resell or redistribute the service without authorization.
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content.

Account Termination

You can delete your account at any time from the profile page. Account deletion permanently removes all your data, including dogs, sessions, reports, and billing information.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or use the service in a way that harms other users or the platform. We will provide notice before termination except in cases of egregious violations.

Limitation of Liability

DropLeash is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DropLeash shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to DropLeash in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Virginia.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on the service. Your continued use of DropLeash after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
